There is no difficulty other than pass or fail because passing or failing is the only thing that affects absolutely anything outside of a number you get to see for 5 seconds at the end of the quest. So you're saying that there's no difference in difficulty in clearing PD below 5 minutes and 10+ minutes? There's no difference in difficulty in clearing PD solo compared to with a full MPA? There's no difference in difficulty in clearing PD without getting hit compared to playing normally? All because it has no real effect in gameplay? Difficulty is about the challenge, the skill and knowledge involved. And then they would complete the mission. Progeny of the Apocalypse is so far from being failable that you could pick 6 completely random players that have never met each other, all running shit-tier builds like RA/BO, with random 10* gear, and not only would they not be in any danger whatsoever on Extra Hard, they wouldn't even need to know anything about the EQ beforehand, except to save their Photon Blast for the Persona portion. When AIS versus Magatsu came out, MPAs could actually fail it(And still do). When Magatsu came out, MPAs could actually fail it. When Mining Base Defense: Despair came out, MPAs could actually fail it(And still do with a significant frequency). When Mining Base Defense: Incursion came out, MPAs could actually fail it(And still do with a significant frequency). When Mining Base Defense: Invasion came out, MPAs could actually fail it. When Dark Falz Loser came out, both he and Apos Dorios could actually make MPAs fail. You should have tools that let you do the same. When Dark Falz Elder came out, both he and Falz Arms could actually make MPAs fail. Since it's invincible and I can control where it hits, I can get a string of weakpoint hits while punishing him for a slow attack. Some of your PA's will have invincibility or guard frames (everyone's got some somewhere), and using these to plow through his more telegraphed attacks like Over End (or whatever it's called in NA) will give you a significant boost in damage.Īs a Gunner, I pretty much just do a low air Messiah Time (Chronolapse in NA) into his head and he falls apart. The real threat is that dodging wildly and recklessly will result in lost chances to do damage. Just do the best damage you can do and when possible make sure to hit him in the head and he should die. His weakpoint is his head and as a Bouncer you can easily exploit that fact. Once you understand how they work, it's a DPS race. Alternatively pick the weapons up yourself and come to terms with how they work. There is an earlier story quest where you fight him head on, and doing that with a garbage weapon can teach you comfortably about how Persona's movelist works. Persona uses a mixture of Sword and Double Saber Photon Arts.
